Why is the Little Wings Foundation registered in the UK?
We prioritize transparency and accountability in our operations. As a registered charity in the UK, we adhere to strict guidelines set forth by government entities. Potential donors can easily review our compliance with these regulations on the Charity Commission of England and Wales website.

Does The Little Wings Foundation exclusively work in Palestine?
While our foundation is dedicated to all children with orthopedic conditions across the Middle East, our primary focus has been on the overwhelming need for orthopedic management in children in Gaza and Palestine. Given the ongoing humanitarian and medical needs, our focus will likely remain the same in the coming years. However, we are open to supporting suitable projects involving orthopedic support for children in underserved areas within the region. Organizations or partners seeking assistance are encouraged to contact us for further discussion on potential projects aligned with our mission.

How does The Little Wings Foundation choose which children to treat?
The Little Wings Foundation selects children for treatment based solely on need. We treat any child under 18 who comes to us or is encountered during our missions. Our charity is committed to a non-political, humanitarian approach free from religious, cultural, and gender bias.

Can I donate to a specific cause?
Many donors have specific ideas about how their donated funds should be used. The preference can be regional or for a specific type of condition. For example, donors might prefer to buy surgical instruments to facilitate surgery or cover the treatment of a specific child. Within our charity, we are able to direct the funds and address those specific donor requests in almost all cases. If you have a specific idea of how your donation money should be spent, please discuss this with one of our trustees.
-
Can I fund a treatment for a specific child?
If donors would like to fund a specific child, we are in contact with the Health Centers in the countries where we work and can provide the opportunity to cover a full treatment with pre-and post-operative reports on the case. Please do contact us for further information.
Our new project, Sanad, also allows donors to cover a child's prosthesis. Please get in touch with us for further information.

Can my company enter a CSR partnership with Little Wings?
Most of our income is from individuals, one-time activities, and fundraisers. A steady flow of donations is crucial to plan and cover the expenses for ongoing projects. We welcome and encourage any partnership that considers regular donations to our charity. We believe that engaging in the management of the most vulnerable children of the region cannot only have a huge impact on so many lives but also enhance and showcase the social responsibilities of companies working in the Middle East.

I would like to help but do not work in the medical field. What can I do?
We welcome volunteers for various roles beyond medical services, such as translators, photographers, and social workers, particularly for children receiving treatment in the UAE. Additionally, support in obtaining surgical implants, medication, and other consumables at competitive prices through partnerships with medical companies for our missions abroad greatly enhances our effectiveness in fund utilization. Any contacts or assistance in these areas is welcome and greatly appreciated.
